Incotec Parts Warranty Terms And Conditions

1.Warranty Coverage

Incotec Parts & Equipment INC. warrants that the parts or repair will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 months from the date of the initial invoice unless otherwise stated. If a repair is performed under this warranty, it is only warranted until the completion of the original warranty agreement.

2. Reporting Defects

The buyer shall report any claimed defect in writing to the seller immediately upon discovery and within the warranty period.

3. Repair And Replacement

Incotec Parts & Equipment INC., at its sole option, shall repair the equipment or furnish replacement equipment or parts at the original delivery point.

4. Unauthorized Repairs

If the buyer or others repair, replace, or adjust the supplied parts or equipment without the written consent of Incotec Parts & Equipment INC., then Incotec Parts & Equipment INC. is relieved of any and all obligations related to any warranty claimed by the buyer.

5. Inspection Rights

Incotec Parts & Equipment INC. reserves the right to inspect any and all alleged defective parts at the site prior to repairs taking place. Additionally, Incotec Parts & Equipment INC. may have a third party inspect any alleged defective parts at the site prior to repairs.

6. Parts And Sourcing​

Incotec Parts & Equipment INC. reserves the right to supply only original equipment manufactured parts as per the original invoice on proven warranty claims. If parts are not available through Incotec Parts & Equipment INC. within a reasonable time frame, Incotec Parts & Equipment INC. will source the parts from alternate suppliers but will only be responsible for costs equal to the original invoice value of the defective parts.

7. Disputed Warranty Claims

For any disputed warranty claims requiring third-party arbitration such as inspection engineering or laboratory tests, the cost will be shared equally between Incotec Parts & Equipment INC., its dealers, and the customer.

8. Exclusions

No equipment or parts shall be deemed defective due to normal wear and tear, failure to resist erosive or corrosive action of any foreign source. Warranty does not cover defects caused by improper use, system contamination, or failure of the purchaser to perform regular and normal maintenance specified by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Alteration of the component or use other than specified by the OEM shall void this limited warranty.

9. Installation And Maintenance​

OEM installation procedures and guidelines must be followed and documented. Incotec Parts & Equipment INC. will not be liable for repairs or replacement by others. Components disassembled prior to Incotec Parts & Equipment INC. warranty review shall void this limited warranty. Use of hydraulic oils or compounds that do not meet OEM specifications shall also void this limited warranty.

10. Limitation Of Liability

Incotec Parts & Equipment INC. shall not be responsible for equipment downtime, loss of use, overtime, production delays, or any other consequential damages.

Warranty For New Parts

1. Warranty Coverage

Incotec Parts & Equipment INC. warrants that all new parts will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal operating conditions and proper application for a period of 6 months from the invoice date unless otherwise noted.

2. Exclusions

The warranty on parts only does not include the cost of removal, installation, or labor.

Warranty Certificate For Undercarriage Components

1. Covered Components

This warranty covers the following undercarriage components: Track Groups, Track Link Assemblies, Shoes, Rollers, Front Idlers, and Sprockets against breakage or leakage.

2. Bushing Turn Warranty

Upon inspection of a complaint, if any joints are found to be dry, Incotec INC. will cover the cost of parts required to complete a wet bushing turn, thereby economically utilizing the remaining life of the links.

3. Link Assemblies Warranty

Incotec INC. provides 100% coverage for the cost of parts required to repair or reseal link assemblies equipped with approved width shoes for a period of three years, 4000 hours, or until the bushings are 100% worn out, whichever comes first.

4. Deduction For Non-Standard Shoes

Link assemblies equipped with low ground pressure or wider-than-standard shoes will be subject to a 20% deduction in chain cost at the time of repair. Swamp shoes are excluded from this deduction.

5. Roller, Front Idler, Chains And Sprockets Warranty

Incotec INC. warranties these components for breakage or leakage for one year or 1500 hours, whichever comes first.

6. Track Shoes Warranty

Track Shoes are warranted for one year or 1500 hours, whichever comes first. For shoes wider than standard width, if three or more shoes break, the warranty will be pro-rated based on wear.

7. Repair Or Replacement

Incotec INC. will repair or replace the product as outlined in the Incotec INC. General Conditions of Sales. All travel, labor, or transportation costs are the responsibility of the customer.
